Every commission follows one unhurried path. You are present at each turn — this is a garment made with you, not merely for you.
We begin over kapeng barako in the atelier — your occasion, your references, the fabrics you love. We take some forty measurements and photograph your posture. No two bodies are drafted the same.
A bespoke pattern is drafted to your figure, then cut in muslin as a toile. You try the shape in the raw before a single thread of piña is touched — silhouette, sleeve height, the fall of the skirt.
Three to six fittings refine the line. Embroiderers hand-work the calado and beadwork on the frame; the barong placket and terno alas are shaped and pressed by hand until the garment stands on its own.
A final steam, a last mirror. Your piece is delivered in a linen garment bag with a care card and the pattern kept on file — so the next commission begins already knowing you.

Reserve a ConsultationWe work only with heritage Philippine textiles, sourced direct from weaving communities in Aklan and Laguna. A single metre of hand-loomed piña can take days to weave — so nothing here is rushed, and nothing is disposable. This is slow fashion the way our lolas knew it.
One client at a time, behind a closed door
Seda is a private salon on the second floor of a converted warehouse in Makati — no walk-ins, no crowds. Each visit is reserved for a single client, so the mirrors, the swatches and the maker's full attention are yours alone.

“Seda has quietly become the name Manila's dressmakers whisper — a house that treats the terno not as costume, but as living couture.”
The calado work is so fine you want to hold it to the light.
A modern barong that finally fits like it was drawn on you.
Slow, exacting, and unmistakably Filipino.
